We spent last Sunday afternoon at the Rosebowl cricket ground, home of Hampshire cricket. This was part of Gareth's Birthday present from me. Hampshire were playing Somerset. We had a lovely day sitting back relaxing with a picnic and watching the action. Somerset won the match by 6 wickets but we still enjoyed it. It hit me during the match that I do actually understand cricket. After years of Gareth watching it and talking about it it has clicked with me!
